I came across a line that said 'Asian Paints flagged the JSW-Nippon amalgamation as another variable entering an already crowded field. Nippon Paint appears to be a separate entity altogether, and Berger even has a separate JV with Nippon specifically for auto coatings.
So my question is that is the 'JSW-Nippon amalgamation' reference accurate, or is it an error? And if it is an error, what is the correct way to describe the competitive threat that Asian Paints was actually flagging?
